Merry Christmas!

     Santa Claus here! Greetings from the North Pole. I was just about to run down to the sleigh and take a test drive when I remembered that I hadn’t yet written to you.

     I wanted to make sure that you received this letter before Christmas arrived. I have instructed Rudolph to personally take this letter to the Santa Village Post Office (please excuse any hoof prints on the envelope!).

     You know, Janet, I’m soooo looking forward to giving you the gift that lies before my eyes! You’ve earned this present! You’ve been very good.

     Are you looking forward to Christmas? I sure am! I have been singing Christmas carols, drinking hot cocoa, walking through the glistening snow, and preparing my sack for the big trip on Christmas Eve.

     By the way, Janet, we just got through decorating our GIANT, I mean humongous, Christmas tree. You should see it! You’d be amazed!

     Well, I have to get back to work so I can make gifts for all the other fine people around the world.
