Merry Christmas!
Ho ho ho William,
Greetings from
Santa Claus
at the North Pole!
At this time of year I
love
to write to all the nice people around the world (especially those
in New Port Richey – wow, right near Orlando – do you go to
Disneyland much?). You've been so good this year that I decided to
write to you FIRST.
Let me tell you, we're hard at work. The
elves are oh so dedicated – and boy do they enjoy what they do! Elf
Leroy wanted me to ask you how Birdie Little was doing.
Your aunt, Laureen, wanted me to remind
you to eat your broccoli! Try adding a dash of pepper.
What
about
presents? I sure will
try to get you what you want. Of course, the best gift of all is the
love of your family and friends. Please keep being nice to them.
William, this is going to be the
best
Christmas ever!
I’m so excited, aren’t you? I am really into the Christmas spirit.
Why, I was even "singing" Christmas carols last night.
Please leave some
cookies
out
on Christmas eve! As for milk, uh... Mrs. Claus says it probably
ought to be low fat milk (could you add a sprinkle or two of
cocoa
and
cinnamon?).
Brrr… it’s
cold.
It's right around 0 degrees Fahrenheit (about -18 Celsius). There’s
a lot of beautiful, glittery white snow about. The elves and
reindeer are playing in it as I write this.
Well, I have to get back to work! A lot
of toys have yet to be made.
Ho ho ho, William!! Merry Christmas! I wish you a happy new year!
Love,
Santa Claus
P.S.
William, Mrs. Claus sends her love. She’s busy sewing my BIG
red suit (I tore
it while walking atop a home in
New Port Richey, last
Christmas!). She and the elves wish you a merry Christmas and a very
happy new year! Bye for now. |
